Children's Activities / Education

kissclipart-children-png-clipart-child-e

Every year at the Aurora GreenFest we make sure that there are plenty of activities for kids.  We want the GreenFest to be an annual event that parents look forward to as a fun, meaningful day to spend with the whole family.  Activities include things like making hats from newspapers, which is one way to teach children about reusing one thing to make something new, instead of throwing it away.  We have lots of nature exhibits to help children and grown-ups connect with the environment.  Through these connections we all learn more about caring for the environment.  Children are the future.  They need to know how to take care of our beautiful earth when we pass it on to them.
